Requirements to be considered for this grant.
To be considered for a donation matching grant, please ensure that you have completed the following steps:
- Launch your fundraising campaign on https://fundyouthsports.com/get-started:
If you haven't done so already, create a compelling campaign on the FundYouthSports platform. This will serve as the central hub for your fundraising efforts, enabling you to showcase your cause, share updates, and engage with potential donors. - Promote your fundraiser on social media:
Share your campaign on at least one social media channel, such as Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. Video make a huge difference and you are encourages to record a short or reel to personally invite your potential donors to support you!
Make sure to tag us and include the hashtags #f4ysmatch and #fund4youthsports in your posts to ensure your campaign gains visibility and attracts a wider audience of potential supporters. - Add contacts to your campaign:
Strengthen your fundraising network by adding at least 10 contacts to your campaign. Reach out to friends, family, colleagues, and community members who may be interested in supporting your cause. Their contributions and involvement will play a crucial role in your campaign's success. - Secure at least three donations:
Encourage supporters to contribute to your campaign through FundYouthSports. Each donation not only demonstrates the community's backing for your cause but also strengthens your eligibility for the donation matching grant.
Upon completing these steps, F4YS will review your campaign for inclusion in our donation matching program. If selected, they will match (up to $500) the donations received by your campaign, potentially doubling the impact of each contribution.
